How to Read a Heat Sheet
The heat sheet is a program that lists all the meet events and participating swimmers. You can tell from the meet sheet which heats your swimmer will race in and their lane number. A lot of swimmers like to write their heat numbers on their arms in marker so they can remember their heats. An announcer at the meet will call out the event and heat number. At some meets, there may also be an electronic board showing this information.
