RAYS SWIM TEAM

Hi parents. Coach Meadows advised us that the pool at Wesleyan will not be available to hold practices over the holiday break. 

Practices WILL run at AB on the following dates:

• Tuesday, the 20th 5:30-7:00 pm
• Thursday, the 22nd 5:30-7:00 pm
• Tuesday, the 27th 5:30-7:00 pm
  
• Wednesday, the 28th 5:30-7:00…

Parents,

We warm-up at 1 pm tomorrow.  Coach Collin will be there.  Swim fast!

We are going to start the meet at 11 am on Saturday.  We will warm-up around 10 am.  HASYT is very small, so we will be competing mostly with our team.  This meet, however, will count toward champs.  I am going to need 12 timers and will set up…

YMCA beginners will meet for their last practice on Mon. the 12th instead of Wed. the 7th (tomorrow) due to coach availability. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Here is a great video from coach Jocie.  Pay attention to the difference in catch and pull under water.  Emphasizes need for evr (early vertical forearm) and high elbow pull.  Sometimes we need to slow down to speed up.
